Payments & Processing
Weekly subscription customers:
Orders are processed (and payment taken after week 1) on Wednesdays however, your fresh seasonal organic produce will be lovingly selected from the best on offer at the farmers markets in the wee hours of the morning, packed and delivered to you on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (depending on your catchment area) in the PM. Any changes to your recurring order need to be done BEFORE 5pm Wednesday.
When you first place your order with The Organic Scarecrow for delivery every 1 , 2, 3 or 4 weeks, payment for week 1 is deducted from your credit card/ paypal account at the time of purchase, and then for every weeks order after the first, payment will be deducted from your credit card/ paypal account on the Wednesday prior for delivery on the following week. This is because we need to provide commitment to our amazing farmers and place our order with them prior to heading out to the markets at sparrows fart to ensure we get their best prices and best produce and be waste free.
Casual one-off customers:
Orders can be placed up until 5pm Sunday for delivery Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday depending on catchment area. Payment for your one-off order is processed immediately upon confirming your order via our website.
Your first recurring order:
All first time recurring orders are processed immediately upon confirming your order via our website. Orders can be placed up until 5pm Sunday for delivery Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday depending on catchment area. After your initial payment is processed all consecutive payments will be processed weekly on a Wednesday evening so any changes, skips, or additions need to be done before 5pm Wednesday.
Your fresh seasonal organic produce will be lovingly selected from the best on offer at the farmers markets in the wee hours of the morning, packed and delivered to you on the same day in the PM. NO specific times can be provided, so if you are not home, we will leave in the best and safest spot we can find at/or close to your front door. If this is not suitable and you would like to make alternate arrangements, please email us at email@example.com as soon as you have confirmed your order and we will do our very best to accommodate your request.
At this stage, we only deliver to homes and offices (no PO boxes) on Sydney's Northern Beaches, North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Central Coast. We also offer a click and collect service from our Brookvale warehouse.

You can now pick up you order from our Brookvale warehouse from midday on Fridays.
Switch Home Delivery to Free Pickup
1. Log into your account from our website
2. Select 'manage subscriptions' and from the drop down menu select 'Update Shipping Method'
4. Update from home delivery to free 'Click & Collect' option and select 'Update'
Weekly subscription customers:
Cancellation notice period for our weekly delivery subscriptions is 1 week. Please remember Tuesday/Wednesday/ Thursday orders are processed on the Wednesday the week prior to delivery.
You are welcome to place your subscription 'on hold' if you are going to be away from home, by skipping future orders in the system .This can be done by selecting the 'login' option in the main menu bar at the top of the website, proceed to login, once logged in select "manage subscription" and then next to each future order, you will be able to select to make a number of different actions, one being to 'skip'.
As all orders are processed each week on a Wednesday you must make adjustments to your subscription before 5pm on Wednesday to ensure they take effect for the next delivery, otherwise they will take effect for the following weeks delivery.

Cancellation notice period for this promotion of our weekly delivery subscription is 4 weeks. You are agreeing to this by processing your first order with us using this code. Please remember this is a recurring order for a minimum of 4 weeks and the recurring payments (after the first initial deduction) are processed on a Wednesday prior to the following weeks delivery. As all orders are processed each week on a Wednesday, you must make adjustments to your subscription before 5pm on Wednesdays to ensure they take effect for the next delivery, otherwise they will take effect for the following weeks delivery.
